Why I joined Sigmas: "I had no interest in joining any form of Greek Life beforehand but when I was invited to the general interest meetings, I felt a pull into the sisters' warm and welcoming environment and ended up gravitating towards to this lifelong sisterhood. I did not expect myself to join Greek Life at all when I first started college, but when I was invited to a Sigma event I felt a natural connection to the sisterhood and the rest is history."

Why I joined Sigmas: "During freshman year, I had a hard time adjusting to college and finding a community I felt genuinely comfortable in. I was skeptical about Greek life at first because of the stigma that surrounds it, but then I met Sigma Psi Zeta and decided to give it a chance. The sisters were so welcoming and I had a lot of fun during rush week! My big sister is the main reason why I decided to join because she was there with me through everything and made me realize what being a Sigma is all about!"

Why I joined Sigmas: "I transferred from University at Buffalo, and the transition wasn’t as easy as I imagined. For a whole year, I struggled to find my “niche” in Rutgers. Then my friend and I decided to rush Sigmas. When we attended the rush events, the sisters were very welcoming and sweet to us. It made me want to be part of their sisterhood. Through Sigmas, I was able to meet new people and receive unconditional friendships."
